WASHINGTON, D.C. - (NOVEMBER 25, 2021)

“One More Song!” is what the crowds chant at the end of 76 Degrees West Band’s live performances. The band is back with a new sound  and it is by far their best project with this new single titled “Dance Joint- Let me see you Party”. The release date is set for November 25, 2021 (Thanksgiving Day). The band gave fans an exclusive pre-release show to debut the song with a live performance at the Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club November 5th.

The band has fully resumed their gigs at regular private events over the last year when venues reopened. The band is known for their captivating high performance energy on stage, “Boss Horns”, and selection of mixed genres, you begin to ponder “what can’t they play?” They call it a musical journey, where they weave through various eras and music genres, including Motown, pop, funk, and Go-Go. The band’s versatility has put them in a class of their own and the range of genres they keep in their arsenal is musically smart. DC Native Band Leader Leon Rawlings calls this new sound creation “a song for all because music unifies us!”

The COVID-19 pandemic had the world in dispair and the one ingredient we all need us hope and unity so Dance Joint will encourage listeners to be free and find their inner joy through music and dance. Check out the new single "Dance Joint" from 76 Degrees West Band. We can all use an upbeat tune and 76 Degrees West Band delivers!

The band made a name for themselves over the years as the "go to" band for many singers and musical stars. But the band turned the heads of SoulTrackers back in 2009 with their self-titled debut album. They have since gone on to release subsequent projects and they remain in demand. Wedding Wire names 76 Degrees West Band as one if the top "Wedding Bands in the Atlantic Region”. Viewers see why they’re the best- from the surprise openings -always tied to an invigorating theme and song arrangement.
